* We have two authorised UK (GB NHC) and EU (EFSA) health claims. ió fibrewater contains 4.5g of your 12g per day of chicory root fibre (inulin) which supports proper gut function by increasing stool frequency. Furthermore, chicory root fibre (inulin) contributes to better blood glucose management. The wording for the claim may read: “Consumption of food/drinks containing inulin instead of sugars induces a lower blood glucose rise after their consumption compared to sugar-containing foods/drinks.” ** ió fibrewater contains 6g of dietary fibre, of which 4.5g is prebiotic fibre. UK government guidelines recommend 30g of dietary fibre per day for adults as part of a healthy balanced diet. The International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics recommends consuming 3-5g of prebiotic fibre daily to confer a health benefit.
